Mas Oncle Ernest
Uncle Ernest was the first to plant vines and grow grapes at this vineyard in the Ventoux region of South West France. For most of the time since, the grapes were supplied to local co-operatives and quality winemakers. However in 2017 his great grand nephew Alexandre, decided it was time to make their own wine. From the outset, Alexandre decided to produce quality wine, that reflected the Terrior, at an affordable price, and with minimal impact on the environment. Organic wine.
When we first met Alexandre we were struck by his passion for what he was doing, and his open and honest manner. Obviously the wine that we sell has to be good, but we also prefer to support people that we actually like and get on well with.
( In case you are wondering "Mas Oncle Ernest" means old farmhouse of Uncle Ernest )
